Kids Maker’s Club – Sewing + Fashion

Our kids sewing and fashion club is a fun way for kids to develop there sewing and design skills. We will focus on making a project that uses various sewing skills and techniques.

Sewing projects will vary based on age. Some prior sewing experience is recommended. Project will be selected by the group. This is a small in-person group. Group size will vary.

Description

This kids maker’s club is a sewing and fashion club that teaches fun sewing projects for kids to develop there sewing and design skills. The focus is on creating a garment or fashion accessory. Available projects are based on age and skill level.

What to expect!

Kids will learn about commercial sewing patterns, how to adjust patterns, and will build their hand and machine sewing skills. They will also explore ways of embellishing their sewing projects.

Each session (4 sessions) will introduce new skills. Please contact us prior to registering if you are unable to attend a session. Some materials are included with registration. Registration open to ages 11 to 17.

Some prior sewing skills recommended.
