Crafted Spaces Kids Creative Summer Day Camps 2024
Welcome! Crafted Spaces has been hosting kids creative camps for eleven years. This year our camps will run in July and August.
Join us this year as we continue to offer our creative summer day camps with sewing and fashion for children ages 10 to 18 years old. During our weekly summer day camps, kids will explore and learn a variety of sewing, textile arts, design and fashion skills. Campers will use sewing machines and other tools to design and craft clothing and fashion accessories.
Camp activities are at our location in Oro-Medonte, Ontario.

Registration is open for Summer 2024
Days & Hours
Full-day camps run throughout the summer on Mondays to Fridays, from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
Early Drop Off / Late Pick Up
Our studio schedule do not allow us extra time between classes. We teach summer day camps, group classes, and private lessons back-to-back throughout the summer, and we do not have a waiting room.
If you need to drop off early or pick up late you must SCHEDULE IN ADVANCE for extended camp hours. We provide a maximum of two (2) early drop offs and two (2) late pick ups included with your registration. Make arrangements via email a minimum of two (2) business days prior to the first day of camp. Arrangements made after the deadline, same day or beyond our offer (as stated previously) will be subject to a fee (please see below). Please make all efforts to drop off and pick up within 10 minutes of camp time (unless otherwise arranged).
Late or Same Day Extended Hours Camp Fees:
Early Drop Off (from 8:30am) – $15.00 per day
Late Pick Up (by 5.30pm) – $20.00 per day
Camp Fee
Refer to individual camp listings for the registration fee. Fees include instruction, project kits, use of equipment and tools, and some refreshments.
There is an Early Bird offer that expires on March 31, 2024. If you are a returning camper, you will receive an additional discount code to use at time of check out. If you are part of a group, please contact us for a special group discount code.
Camp Registration
Please register early. If a camp session is full you can be placed on a waiting list upon request.

Payment Information
Full payment is required to complete your registration. All payments are payable to Crafted Spaces. Credit card and PayPal payments can be made at check-out. Canadian e-transfer payments should be sent to create@craftedspaces.com. Contact us for other payment options including cash or cheque. Please be advised we have a strict NO REFUND policy on camps.
An Early Bird Discount is listed if you register by March 31, 2024. Returning campers from Summer 2023 or March 2024, will receive an additional discount via email. A group discount is available if you are registering 3+ children or if you are part of a group with 3+ children. Members of a group can register individually; however, you must contact us for more information regarding your group.

Wait List
If there is a week of camp you will like your child to attend and it is full, please let us know and we will put your child on a wait list. Even though it is rare that we get cancellations, from time to time we do get students that need to change their week of camp. We know that the uncertainty of the waitlist is inconvenient so we do our best to communicate with you through email updates.

Learn To Sew
Join our Learn To Sew day camp this summer. Campers will learn how to use a sewing machine, take measurements and sew fun beginner friendly projects. Each day we will explore a different sewing technique. This is a great camp to start off the summer of sewing. Perfect for beginners, and a great refresher for those with some projects under their belt. No prior sewing experience is required. Ages 10 – 18.
Sewing + Fashion
In our Sewing + Fashion camp, campers will learn how to use a commercial sewing pattern, make basic pattern adjustments and learn various sewing and textile art skills. Campers will expand their sewing skills and will learn how to work with different fabrics and embellishments. Projects will vary. Each day we will focus on developing a different skill. Prior sewing experience is an asset, but is not required. Ages 10 – 18.
Design Your Own Clothing
This year we are introducing our new camp called Design Your Own Clothing. This is a great camp for campers with a little or a lot of sewing experience. Campers will use a commercial sewing pattern and make pattern modifications to create their own designs. Various sewing and textile art skills will also be included. Campers will expand their design and sewing skills. They will learn how to work with different fabrics and embellishments. They will also transform their ideas into wearable pieces of clothing and accessories. Prior sewing experience is recommended, but is not required. Ages 10 – 18.
Prerequisites: All levels welcome!
