Crafted Spaces Kids Creative Summer Day Camps 2026
Join us in July and August 2026 for our creative summer day camps; with sewing, textile art, and fashion design for children ages 11 to 17 years old.
During our summer day camps, kids will explore and learn a variety of sewing, textile arts, design, and fashion skills. Campers will use sewing machines and other tools to design and craft clothing and fashion accessories.
Camp activities are hosted at our studio in Oro-Medonte, Ontario. This year we are also hosting sessions at a local farm (more details to follow).

Registration is open for Summer 2026
Days & Hours
Full-day camps run Mondays to Fridays, from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
Early Drop Off / Late Pick Up
Our studio schedule does not allow us extra time between classes. We teach summer day camps, group classes, and private lessons back-to-back throughout the summer, and we do not have a waiting room.
If you need to drop off early or pick up late, you must SCHEDULE IN ADVANCE for extended camp hours. We can include early drop offs and late pick ups with your registration, but arrangements must be made via email a minimum of two (2) business days prior to the first day of camp. Please make all efforts to drop off, and pick up within 10 minutes of camp time (unless arranged otherwise). Arrangements made after the deadline, or same day is subject to a fee (please see below).
Late or Same Day Extended Hours Camp Fees:
Early Drop Off (from 8:30am) – $15.00 per day
Late Pick Up (by 5.30pm) – $20.00 per day
Camp Fee
Refer to individual camp listings for the registration fee. Fees include instruction, project kits, use of equipment and tools, and some light refreshments. Please pack a lunch each day.
Our Early Bird Discount offer expires on April 30, 2026. Use the following Coupon Code: create2026 at time of checkout. If you are a returning camper, you will receive a discount code to use at time of check out (please email us for more information).
If you are part of a group, please contact us for a special group discount code. A group discount is available if you are registering 2+ children or if you are part of a group with 2+ children. Members of a group can register individually; however, you must contact us for more information regarding your group.

Camp Registration
Please register early. Minimum camp registration is required for a camp session to run. If a camp session is full you can be placed on a waiting list.

Payment Information
A 30% minimum deposit is required when you initially register, and full payment is required before the first day of camp to to secure your spot. All payments are payable to Crafted Spaces.
Canadian e-transfer payments should be sent to create@craftedspaces.com. Credit card and PayPal payments can be made at check-out. Contact us for other payment options, including cash or cheque. Please be advised we have a strict NO REFUND policy on camps (a credit may be available).

Wait List
From time to time we do get students who need to change their week of camp; which may open up a space. We know that the uncertainty of the wait list is inconvenient, so we do our best to communicate with you through email updates.

Textile Art
Dive into the wonderful world of textiles and creativity! In our Textile Art summer day camp, campers will learn how to use various techniques to create unique textiles. Campers will be introduced to hands-on projects that explore craftsmanship and self-expression. Each day we will focus on developing a different skill. Fabric dying, fabric painting, silk screening and other techniques will be explored. Ages 11 – 17.
Fashion Design
In our Fashion Design summer day camp, campers will learn how bring their ideas to life. Campers will expand their design skills and will learn how to work with different fabrics and embellishments. Projects will vary. Each day we will focus on developing a different skill. Ages 11 – 17.
Sewing + Fashion
In our Sewing + Fashion summer day camp, campers will learn how to use a commercial sewing pattern, make basic pattern adjustments, and learn various sewing and textile art skills. Campers will expand their sewing skills and will learn how to work with different fabrics and embellishments. Projects will vary. Each day we will focus on developing a different skill. Prior sewing experience is an asset, but is not required. Ages 11 – 17.
Design Your Own Clothing
We have new and exciting projects available in our Design Your Own Clothing summer day camp. This is a great summer day camp for campers with some sewing experience, or those that will like to challenge themselves. Campers will use a commercial sewing pattern, make pattern modifications to create their own designs, and use textile art techniques to create unique projects. Sewing, textile art, and sustainability are the main focus of this camp. Campers will expand their design and sewing skills, learn how to work with different fabrics, apply textile art techniques, and work with different embellishments. They will also transform their ideas into wearable pieces of clothing and accessories. Prior sewing experience is recommended. Ages 11 – 17.
Photography
Join our Photography summer day camp if you love taking pictures or will like to get started. Explore the world through your lens and capture the fun all around you. This camp will focus on the principles of taking a great photo, with tips to improve output. This is an opportunity to experiment with this fun medium. Campers will take part in photo shoots, nature walks, experiencing the view from behind the lens as well as assisting peers with their photographic visions, then take their raw footage through the editing and production process to create fabulous final products. Campers are required to bring their own digital cameras. Ages 11 – 17.
Prerequisites: All levels welcome!
