Description

This three-hour (3 hrs) Soap Making class teaches the basics of how to make cold processed soap using natural oils, butters, essential oils and lye (NaOH). This class is available in a small group (8 person max.) at our studio in Oro-Medonte. You can also schedule a private one-on-one session or a private event for a larger group. Great for parties, bridal showers, girls-night-out and corporate team building events. Contact us for group quotes.

What you will learn

the benefits of different oils, kinds of butter and essential oils
learn how to use a soap calculator
create a soap recipe
make a small batch of soap (approx. six bars / 1 lb)

This class is open to adults and children 11+ (with a registered adult). We ask that you wear appropriate clothing. Personal safety equipment (apron, gloves, eye protection, etc.) will be provided.

Each student can customize their batch of soap with essential oils, dried botanicals and natural additives.
