This Beginner Sewing class is the perfect place to begin your sewing journey or to refresh your sewing skills. Start using a sewing machine and make fun projects.

Our beginner sewing classes are once a week for four (4) weeks. There is a total of (8) eight hours of instruction. Sessions include small group lectures and tutorials.

All sessions are at our studio in Oro-Medonte. Please refer to your order/registration for address and other contact information. This is an adult class (17+).

Sew beginner friendly projects

Develop the skills and confidence needed to explore new sewing projects. This beginner sewing class does not require any prior sewing experience. However, if you will like to get familiar with your sewing machine or other sewing essentials prior to this class visit our Sewing Machine Basics or Sewing Essentials Level 1.

This class is limited to a maximum of six participants. We provide lots of opportunities for one-on-one attention and feedback, with an opportunity for extra time as needed. You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine and supplies; however, it is not required (see below).

What to Expect!

We make a max of (2) two small projects for this class
A class kit is included – this includes pattern(s), fabric and notions
You do not have to bring any materials for this class
In-class access to sewing machines and other equipment included
We recommend bringing a note book to start a sewing journal (optional)
