This sewing machine basics class teaches you how to thread a sewing machine, fill a bobbin, sew basic seams, and other sewing machine essentials.

This class is a great place to start if you are new to sewing or will like to refresh your sewing skills. It is designed to get you familiar with a sewing machine and to get you started with sewing.

This is not a project-based class.

Description

This (3) three-hour sewing machine basics class is an introduction to how to use a sewing machine. You will learn how to thread a sewing machine, fill a bobbin, select and change your needle, and sew basic seams. We will also cover basic sewing machine maintenance and care.

Access to a sewing machine is available with registration; however, we recommend bringing your own machine to become familiar with its’ features. A supplies list will be provided via email upon registration.

Class Supplies

Upon enrollment, a Supply List will be emailed to you. These items are required for the class. We welcome any questions regarding materials prior to registration.
