Description

This Serger Basics class is the best place to start if you have never used a Serger and would like to learn the basics. Learn how to use a serger and get the finished look you want for your sewing projects. You must have your own serger for this class.

What you will learn:

Learn how to (based on machine features):

  • thread the machine
  • finish seams
  • adjust tension
  • cut width
  • differential feed
  • create a rolled hem
  • work with knit and woven fabric

This is not a project-based class, but you are welcome to bring a small project along. We suggest you bring your machine manual if available.
