This class is a great place to start if you are new to sewing or will like to refresh your sewing skills. It is designed to get you familiar with a sewing machine and to get you started with sewing.

This is not a project-based class.

Description

This (3) three-hour sewing machine basics class is an introduction to how to use a sewing machine. You will learn how to thread a sewing machine, fill a bobbin, select and change your needle, and sew basic seams. We will also cover basic sewing machine maintenance and care.

Access to a sewing machine is available with registration; however, we recommend bringing your own machine to become familiar with its’ features.

Class registration include instruction, demo materials, and in-studio use of our sewing machines and tools.
