Description

This fun three-hour Zippered Pouch class will teach you how to make a zippered pouch. You can resize your pouch, and use it as a project bag, cosmetic bag, pencil case, travel case or other fun purpose.

This is a beginner-intermediate class. You should have some sewing experience or have taken our Sewing Basics 101 or Beginner Sewing class.

You will learn how to use a zipper foot and include a lining. This class includes the pattern; but also includes, some basic pattern drafting skills, where you will learn to resize your pouch for different purposes. This simple project is an excellent follow-up to our Sewing Basics 101 or Beginner Sewing class.

Our Zippered Pouch Kit is included with your registration. It includes materials for a small zippered pouch. Fabric may vary from the images shown.

However, you are welcome to use your materials. You can also re-purpose or up-cycle materials for this project.
